Ewa Minge: How colours affect mood? My philosophy
I often repeat that art doesn't end on canvas or the runway. It lives in our homes and on our bodies. Color is the strongest form of energy we can wear or surround ourselves with. These are not just aesthetic choices, but decisions about what atmosphere we invite into our lives.

White and beige as the architecture of silence
When I design, a light palette is a breath of fresh air for me. It's the foundation of a style that doesn't scream, but soothingly whispers. White and sandy beiges are like a clean slate, reducing the information overload we have in excess and bringing comfort. In the bedroom, where we rest after an intense day, textiles in these shades allow the nervous system to enter regeneration mode. These are colors that give freedom and space for one's own thoughts. In fashion, white is a great base, a canvas on which we can paint our character.
Deep black for protection and authority
For me, black is synonymous with strength, not sadness. It's an armor-like color that gives a sense of security and undeniable professionalism. When I wear a black monolook, I feel like I'm in control. In accessories like eyeglass frames, shoes, or a handbag, black acts like a frame for a picture, complementing and emphasizing the character of the styling.
Animal prints as a manifesto of nature
Many are afraid of leopard print or snake motifs, but for me, it's a return to primal energy. Animal prints are not just a "pattern" but the texture of nature, which adds fierceness and self-confidence. This is a suggestion for women who are not afraid of their strength and want to manifest it in a sophisticated way.
Gold as light captured in an object
Gold in my designs is never accidental. It's the color of the sun, luxury, and timelessness. In everyday designs, it rarely dominates; a jewelry detail on a handbag, a golden temple of glasses, or delicate embroidery on a pillow is enough. Gold illuminates the face and interior, adding nobility to them. It's a color that speaks of success, but in Eva Minge Design, it always serves elegance, not ostentation.

Monolooks in bold colors for the brave
Nothing builds an image as strongly as a monolook in a saturated color. Deep red, amaranth, or cobalt used from head to toe is a decision to be seen. Such combinations eliminate visual chaos and create a coherent, strong silhouette. The same applies to interiors – one wall or an entire zone in a deep, saturated color can give a room a soul and become a backdrop for our lives, which then become more intense.
My principles for creating harmony
Listen to intuition, not trends
If you feel stronger in a certain color, it means it's right for you, regardless of what the season dictates.
A patent for styling and interiors
I often use the proportion division: 60% base for peace, 30% complementary color to build mood, and 10% pure madness in accessories. This principle makes both clothing and space lively, intriguing, but never tiring to the eye.
Light as the ultimate designer
Color does not exist without light. Always check how the chosen shade of fabric or frames behaves at sunset and in warm lamp light. The true depth of color lives and changes with the time of day, so let it work for you in every light.

Summary
Design is a dialogue between our soul and the world around us. By choosing colors consciously, we not only decorate reality but also genuinely influence how we think and act. Don't be afraid to experiment, because luxury is primarily the courage to be yourself in an environment that supports you.
Talk to you next time,

PS. this is my blog debut, but I like this form of longer expression, so it's probably not the last time I'll write something for you.
